The Consumer Rights Directive and non-geographic numbers

euThe Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which implement into UK law the majority of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, change the permitted use of non-geographic numbers for post contract customer helplines.

NT deploys IP Office 500 for British Midlands International (BMI)

British midlands internationalThrough the installation of two Avaya IP Office 500 systems together with 150 IP handsets and SIP trunks, NT has helped British Midlands International Airport (BMI) to link up its two main sites in order to improve both its internal communications and its interactions with its customers.  It has further linked up its 150 remote workers across the UK through the system, bringing its operations even closer together.
