On Sunday October 10th some of the staff at NT played for a charity football team against the Nottingham Forest Legends. Pitching their skills against the legendary team was sure to be a huge challenge but it was all in aid of a very good cause. Find out what happened.
The match was arranged by Mark Beardsley at his local football ground to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. The whole day was a great success. After lots of hard work to promote the match there were 720 in attendance. The team prepared well for the match in the hope of not being on the end of a humiliating defeat in front of friends and family so when the NT team only lost 5-1 they were delighted! Everybody really enjoyed the day and through all of the hard work of those that helped Mark arrange the day, we raised over £1,600 for MNDA.
If you would like to make a donation to MNDA you can do so at Mark’s Just Giving page.
